Social Media Club LA - 2019 Best Marketing Campaign:

Allocadia Distressed: A cautionary tale of marketing chaos.

In a Martech space overrun with headlines of better, faster, easier, Allocadia wanted to cut through the pure parity performance claims and create significant demand for its run marketing platform.

Rather than explain Allocadia's product with another "er" campaign, Hypnotic strategically designed a disruptive story to increase the severity of the category problem: marketing ineffectiveness.

Marketers needed to be made painfully aware of an integrated platform for marketing, so we kicked them in the badonkadonk with an original 360 content campaign, “Distressed: A cautionary tale of marketing chaos.” Disguised as a movie promotion, it successfully spread Allocadia's disruptive story across multiple channels, engaging audiences at trade shows and sales events, and through social media, email, and even Slack (as a UGC marketing horror stories forum). Any marketer at a large company absent of an integrated marketing platform could sadly relate to the comedy.

All told, Allocadia realized it’s highest campaign performance metrics yet, generated demand, and increased sales enough to almost double revenue.

Marketing pain was truly Allcocadia’s gain.

The Show Landing Page ran all trailers, driving traffic to the Allocadia run marketing platform and to trade shows where the film was on display. The landing page drove 30% of all new web traffic to Allocadia's platform.

Social Media Graphics

Social media graphics and video trailers increased engagement rates on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter by 140%, promoting Allocadia and its booths at Martech trade shows. 

Email

Distressed Emails scored a 247% increase in click-to-open rates.
 

Trade Show Booths

Trade Show Booths disrupted foot traffic at conferences, promoting the movie to conference attendees.
